About KFP

Hi, I’m Kellie, and welcome to Kellie Fite Photography. I started this company hoping I would have the chance to share with others, the way I see life and love….with a little bit of charm, an eye for details, and a thoughtful and giving spirit. We are what you call, a “Lifestyle Portrait and Wedding Photography” company, whose sole purpose in life, is to elegantly capture moments and connections between people on camera.  As for me, I am a native Southern Californian (yep, one of the last born-and-bred people still living in Los Angeles) and I am very passionate about photography.  When I am shooting a wedding, there are always a few moments that make my heart sputter.  I fall a little bit in love with each couple and wedding I do.  What captures me the most is all the little emotional details of their special day…the look on the man’s face when he see’s his wife-to-be walking down the aisle for the first time, or that nervous-laugh moment between the couple when they meet at the altar. When at least one person is trying to hold back their tears in an attempt not to cry in front of 100’s of people, or the hands in the air moment right after the couple walks back down the aisle as man and wife….. really, all the candid special moments. That’s what Kellie Fite Photography is all about, intuitively knowing and capturing those sweet images.

When I’m doing a portrait session, I always try to connect with the person, child or family on a personal level. I’ll take some time to get to know you and your lifestyle. What’s your personality like? What type of pictures are you looking for? Are you modern, quirky, conservative or daring? I always try to capture those “I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo!” moments. Whether it’s a 10 day old precious baby captured in blissful deep sleep, or a family whose “group hug” lights up the camera. The glow of a beautifully pregnant woman, who wants to remember the feeling of holding a life in her body, or the Senior in high school, who is taking their first pictures that say to the world proudly, “look at me, I’ve made it!” This is my highest goal, to capture these memories on camera.
