Waiting for Wesley

I’ve known Rachel and Noel for over 7 years now, and although we like teasing Noel about his tendencies to wear things like speedo’s and fanny packs, Rachel still wanted to marry him and start a family with him. I was right there when they got engaged, and was honored to be involved in the wedding. A few happily wedded years later, (and a new wardrobe for Noel), and (ta-da!) little baby Wesley was on his way. Rachel settled comfortably into the newly pregnant role well, and 8 months later, I was asked to take their maternity shots. You can see the anticipation of becoming new parents on their faces so well. At one point, Noel pulled out his beautiful guitar and started singing softly to his little boy, and he started dancing and kicking inside Rachel’s belly! Those kids hear everything! It was very cute. It was a fun day, and I am happy to share these photos with you.

About Kellie

I am passionate about photography, love the beach, and I find it very hard to say no to dark chocolate. I love children. I love weddings. I'm obsessed with Etsy. I love re-purposing or recycling items into awesome art. I love being outdoors. I love watching sunsets and people. I love learning, whether its through a workshop, reading a good book or a person with life experience. I love the smell of coffee but don't like the taste. I love whales and dolphins. I'm not sure why, but I do. I'm addicted to Scrabble. I can't live without music or my camera. I love naps and my 13 year old dog, Nevada. I love my makeshift garden and creating delicious food. I love life!

  1. Not only did the pictures turn out so beautifully, but Kellie was so patient with us (we were a bit camera shy and weren’t sure WHAT to have her take pictures of!) and made the session fun. She had great ideas for settings and moods and had a caring warm touch. She’s our friend and we love her, of course, but we’d also recommend her to anyone for their photography needs. Nice job, Kellie!
